First Game
So, my field hockey team had their first game today and I played goalie the whole time (even though I've only been goalie in the last three practices). But it was fun and we won! Since Field Hockey isn't a very popular sport we usually don't win... we don't even have enough players on our team at our grade level so some of the JV girls play. But it was still cool. I made a few saves, let nothing in, and managed to hit the sweeper in the face with my field hockey stick (although we have to wear goggles and I hit her right on them thank god). Heh.
Also, in the practice before the game, one of the JV players popped up the ball when she tried to score and it hit me in the knee right between the massive shin gaurd and these weird big, padded shorts/pants I have to wear. So now I have a brusie there but it's really not that bad.
So.... just to bring up an idea.... What would you all think about me going to college next year? I want to get everyone's feed back.... As right now I have no idea whether to go or not but I'm going through the admissions process anyway (I don't even know if I'll get in though my sister thinks I will and since she goes there....) So yeah, ideas?

Do you mean that I-forget-what-it's-called college that's for really smart high school students who want to get ahead? Or, like, COLLEGE college, where you'd be taking classes with 18 year olds?
It's like half and half. There's a special program inside the actual, regular college, called Program for the Exceptionally Gifted so there'd be like 30 girls my age and then like the rest of the college who would be 18 year olds. Each PEG class is around 30 girls and then... yeah...
Got it. What college is it?
As to my opinion...I don't know... how does your sister like it? And what would your other choices be? Personally, I don't think I'd want to basically, completely skip high school. But I suppose if I had some time to get used to the idea... see, 'cause I never even *thought* of going straight to college, but if I were able to think about it and re-adjust my life plan and stuff, maybe I'd consider it. Still...it'd kind of take away both the high school *and* the college experience, because it's not high school, but you're still high school age.
Then I stop and think of it like a full-time CTY, and in that case it sounds great.
college sounds like a distant time, far away kind of thing to me...but u go to a private school (prep school, right?) and ur PREPPED cuz ur all geared up, eh? i dunno. sounds scary. dont let the 18-year-olds step on u. they'd be like, "HAHA MOUSE. get it, get it? im like an elephant!" and u'd be like, "wowwww nice analogy.....ur like, a deer nut." and they'd be like, "how is that funny, i dont get it." and u'd be like, "ur under a buck." and they'd think u were calling them a cheap hoooookeeeeeeerrrrrrr.
and they'd beat u up....
well try to. u'd like, wack 'em with a field hockey stick or sumthing. lol.
HAHA wow.
Wow Lily, thanks.
it's Mary Baldwin College. What was that about me being all prepped and geared up huh? Do Is eriously seem like a preppy person? And one of the only ways I go is scholarships and stuff. Same with my private school. Thank you very much! ;)
My sister loves it, like literally. I've been there and it's pretty cool. The other options are continuing into private high school or public high school.
omg you are gonna go to college. THATS WICKED! annywas i wouldn't go to college, well i m just not mature enough but i think that its a good oppurtunity. But i can't make the decison for you can I?
I just want other peoples ideas.
