In July and August 2006, fourteen talented teenagers came together to study the craft of essay writing at a "nerd camp" in upstate New York. This is our blog. Bow.

I'm baa-aack

Sorry guys!!! I haven't posted in basically forever, or even replied to any of your things, but it's cause I couldn't log in cause of the change to the weird google accounts and whatnot, not cause I was lazy! Well, partially cause I was too lazy to try figuring out how to get a new account...

Well, it's good to hear your lives are going fairly well. Summer's well on its way- it's regents week, so my last technical day of school was Tuesday, and now I only have to come in on exam days or if I'm going to review. I only have two regents this year, math B and biology, and my math one I took Thursday, so all I've got left is biology this Wednesday, and once I'm done with that it is officially summer vacation. Wooh!!!

I got into my writing camp again this year, so I'm majorly psyched about that. Can't wait for it. I'm not going to CTY, though- I kind of wanted to take "Crafting Fiction" or another of those writing courses, but last summer I think was too much for me with all the stuff I was doing, and I feel bad costing my parents money, so I'm gonna spend the whole summer writing instead of learning about writing. I'm hoping to finish my story-child which has been a work in progress for... going on four years now... cough... that's not really long... I'm sorry, I have a short attention span! I hope you guys have fun again up here in majestic upstate new york, though!

Um... I think I mentioned last time I posted about our Whose Line is it Anyway rip off. It went really really well- not a whole lot of people came, but those who did thought it was awesome. I was sposed to be an alternate, but our director ended up just letting me and the other alternate be in it anyways.

Urgh, a couple of weeks ago I took the SAT subject tests for math and biology. Gross. I'm still waiting on my results.

Been reading lots of books, got a sunburn yesterday (ouch.), READY FOR SUMMER!!!

I'm not studying for it. I refuse. But I figure I got 100 on my bio final (which was regents questions) and a 97 on the practice regent... so I think I'm set. And I didn't study for Math A either (lol, Laura is *3 terms* ahead of me) because i knew it would be insanely easy. And it was.
