Diet Coke and Mentos

I did it! The diet coke and mentos thing! Actually, this was like two weeks ago, but I forgot to post about it. A bunch of my friends were at my house and we were trying to drink as much soda as we could because I had to empty three bottles of soda in two days for my bottle rocket project. Anyway, so my dad started talking about how when you put mentos in diet coke, it shoots up. And I'm like "Oh YEAH! Miranda told us about that!" so we walked down to the deli and bought a pack of mentos, and threaded three together and dropped them into the coke bottle. The coke shot about 4-5 feet into the air. Very cool, but with a *lot* of build-up.

I've been very busy lately...I had my first track meet on staurday! I did okay, I came in 7th for my team of about 15 freshman. Afterwards I was exhausted, but i'm all recovered now. It was exciting. But we had to be at the school at 6:45 (am), which was icky, icky, icky. Especially because half of us had been out late the night before since, y'know, it was friday night, so we were all hanging out. We went mini-golfing. Except only 3 kids actually golfed. But it was fun. Regretted it at 5:30 the next morning, though.
