jeez. all your sporty people. i have masterminds. that's a sport, as far as im concerned. our most recent meet, we lost against two other teams but beat one. today we played against some of the teachers in our school, and we had tied by the end, and then we had a sudden death question which neither team got, and then we had another sudden death question that our team got. it feels good to beat teachers.
today i had to play the piano for a talent show because national junior honor society was hosting it and we had too few acts, so i volunteered. big mistake. i dont get nervous in front of people when im speaking, but playing piano, ive never done in front of people before. i was terrified. i played fairly decently, though, i only screwed up one time, and i kept going so it was okay. i played "wishing you were somehow here again" from the phantom of the opera.
i have a midterm in math and band coming up. grr.
regents week coming up, i get to have four days off while laughing at some of my friends, who have to take the Math A regents! (i took that last year) muhaha. i laugh at their misfortune.
still reading the nineteen books from christmas. i love books.
and... thats just about it.
rock on from all of us in majestic upstate new york.

....i havta take the math a regents... fun fun fun. we took practice ones, so easy.
and im not doing sports eithr, parents sed i couldnt. so frustrating. they yanked me off yrbk and mock trial team 2....
dude, that's not cool. yearbook and mock trial are educational. and they look good on college.
yeah, the math a regents was pretty easy, though still not fun. regents rarely are.
LOL guys I'm in what my school affectionately calls "stupid people math" aka Math A term 1. 'Cause my school didn't *offer* math A last year. So yeah, I'm not taking the regents until June. And I have a feeling they're going to be insanely easy from what I've seen so far... most of which I had learned somewhere around 4th grade :o)
And yeah, why'd they pull you off mock trial and yearbook? You should tell them that extracurriculars are actually just as important as grades on college aplications. It's true.
It is, I'm going through the applications right now. Don't they let you decide anything for yourself?
ooo asian parents!!! lol, i have them too. but my dad was a runner when he was young, so he's all like WOOOOOHH LILY SO WHATS UR BEST TIMEEEE???? my mom doesnt care about anything but my grades, lol. so if i keep up with that, im allowed to do my random extracurricsss. hahah regents? what are regents? is that like MCAS for massachusetts??? (Mass Comprehension Assessment Sumthingggg i dont remember) hahaha.....im so cool.
regents are basically special tests that the board of regents (hence the name) sets for us here in glorious new york to take after we finish a course in high school. you take them in pretty much everything. i have no idea what the mcas tests are, but... i assume its somewhat like that...
