In July and August 2006, fourteen talented teenagers came together to study the craft of essay writing at a "nerd camp" in upstate New York. This is our blog. Bow.

memory of the week #9

You know what's sad? It's all starting to get a bit fuzzy. I still have a memory to share with you of course, but I'm starting to really have to think about these.

So, remember how EVERY SINGLE MEAL was like, variants of the exact same stuff? Breakfast especially. Every day there was:
-- 3 trays of fruit. Strawberries, melon, grapes, or a mix of fruits.
-- a potato product. Either home fries, tater tots, or hash browns.
-- eggs. scrambled. slightly frightening.
-- a bread product. Either pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
-- a meat product. Either bacon, sausage, or that other kind of sausage.
-- the cereal stand.
-- toast.
-- the desert breakfast foods (doughnuts and stuff)

It says something that even two months later I am able to recite exactly what was served at breakfast every single flipping day.

I think that just says something about the food, not your memory kills, no offense. ;)
