Rant
The buses are stupid. I just got home like three minutes ago because of this, and I'm ready to hurt someone. Okay, not really, but I'm still mad. See, after track I uslually take either the 4:30 bus if I can make it in time, or the 5:00 bus if I can't. So today I got there at 4:34 and I'm like grrrrr, because this means I won't get home until 6. So I went to Dunkin Donuts, got a hot chocolate, and sat outside in the freezing weather in only my sweatshirt waiting for the bus. At 5:05 I called my mom because I realised...the bus was NOT COMING. That's happened to me with the 4:30 bus a couple of times, but at least then I can still catch the 5:00 bus. My mom couldn't pick me up though, 'cause she had a dentist appointment. So I wait for *another* half hour for the 5:30 bus, and I was so cold my hands turned pink and started to feel numb. The bus finally came (5 minutes late, too) but now it's 6:45. That's just WRONG. I mean, what if someone seriously had to get somewhere as soon as possible? How can a bus just randomly NOT come? This is why the buses are stupid.
Okay, done with the rant. I just had to get that out. Right, so the overnight thing in Rhode Island was very fun...well, except for the actual race. That was just painfull. And exceedingly muddy, being that it rained on friday, which was when we ran the course for practice -- and were completely gross afterwards...the mud puddles came up to my knees in places. Still, it was fun. The hotel was pretty, and it was like a big sleepover. Even the bus rides were fun...11 hours spent on that bus... got to know everyone on there very well...
And my science project is due the day after halloween. How much does that suck?
