Zdrastvuytye!

GAH. I switched this website so that everything is in Russian but I can't figure out how to switch it back. Why? Because the directions that would tell you how to switch it back are all in Russian. And I'm really not that good at Russian. Our posts still show up in english though, so w/e. I'll figure it out eventually.

So... yesterday I ran this really fun race/challenge thing that was 12k (like 7.somthing miles) plus 5 "mystery challenges." It was a team thing, so I did it with my friend and we won 1st place in the under 18 category... which sounds sort of impressive until I tell you that there was only one other team in that category. But it was fun. we had to carry this 18 pound sandbag for the first 2 miles, then there was this thing with a pool of (really dirty and cold) water and I had to go under three bars laying across it, and another thing where I had to paint my friend's nails blindfolded... and like nets we had to crawl over and stuff. But we got SO dirty. I think I might have to throw out those sneakers.

What else... i walked the march of dimes today, so that was fun... um... not much else happening. It just seemed like i should update because I mysteriously have loads of time this weekend -- it's actually kind of weird, I keep feeling like there must be something I'm forgetting to do... some project or HW or test tomorrow... but there isn't, which is pretty cool.

Okay. I'm done now. And I'm hoping "Opublikovat" means "Post".

Maybe it doesn't, cause I just pressed it and I'm getting this message that I think is telling me I did something wrong. I'll try the other button.

Hello all.

Yeah, it seems like everyone is crazy busy, seeing that there are seldom new posts.
But, I have stolen away from my 2 essays to write basically nothing.

Nothing much is going on in life, besides hw, tests, blah blah blah. And then theres this boy that my parents say I can't talk to anymore, but I still do and then he pretty much proffessed his undying love for me. Kinda weird.

So whenever you people have a chance, lets keep this blog going. :D

Wow

First of all, happy RIDICULOUSLY late birthday Amelia!

I haven't been good at all with keeping in contact with you guys and now I feel really guilty. I love you guys! <3 Reading all these posts just makes me miss CTY soooooo much. : ( *emo tear* But I've been really busy, mostly with homework and trying to get it all done on time. I'm sloshing through all of these boring 5 paragraph cookie-cutter essays and I really just wish I was back at Siena writing essays about name meanings and awesome stuff like that. Having to analyze the deeper symbolic meaning of every other word of Lord of the Flies just ruined it for me.

Recent developments in my life:

-Went to states for debate
-Got owned by some juniors and seniors
-Now own several dress shirts and a suit
-Gained ability to run in pumps
-No more braces
-Yes annoying smelly retainers
-Just got back from Wisconsin/Chicago this week
-Wisconsin is, indeed, full of cheese and cows and other smelly creatures
-Went mushroom-collecting in Wisconsin
-Didn't really find anything
-Chicago was pretty cool
-Missed the Nor'easter : )
-School pretty much sucks
-Lexington HIGH <-----what many of the kids are on a daily basis
-Weird awkward classes with those people who you know but will promptly ditch you if one of their friends is near
-I've got tons of those this quarter
-No sleep : (
-People creating massive amounts of unnecessary drama
-Good thing it's over soon

Uhh yeah. That's just about it. I really haven't been doing much. But I now have a Wii. : ) Which is pretty much the best video game console ever. (I can check the weather at Beijing, Boston or even the South Pole whenever I please on a gigantic spinning globe-thing)

Heeeeeellllooooooooo.

Hi all. I think I've kind of given up on memories of the week because A) I'm running out of ideas for them -- I tried to use only things everyone (or almost everyone) would remember, so, yeah, and B) I seem to have less time now. Maybe cause it's like getting close to the end of the year which = regents so my teachers are all like OMG!! REGENTS!!! AHH!!!, or maybe just cause my teachers this semester give more HW ... or something. But I always think like "oh, I should really post today" but then I don't get a chance. But I'm posting now. Even though I have a bio test tomorrow. So be happy. Yay!!

Thanks to everyone who said happy birthday!!!! I was trying to post after my birthday, but then that whole google account thing got in the way cause I couldn't remember what my username was... I have a *really* bad memory for that sort of thing. But my birthday was good. Not especially exciting, but very good.

Hum. Tomorrow I'm doing this "day of silence" thing at school. It's to support gay rights, and it should be pretty amusing... like half the freshmen class is doing it. Just not talking. At all. All day. And we have passes so we don't even have to talk in class.

And did you know that if it had been 10 degrees colder on Sunday we would have gotten 7 ft of snow? That's A LOT of snow.

OMG!!!

holy....crap.....

well, 2day is the virginia tech shootings....but in my small little town, nicknamed the "town of friendly people"....

I just got a public service phone call...don't know what it is about....but there are tons of police cars/fire engines swarming around. warning us to stay away from the windows and not to go out.
then my sister says theres some wacko person, assumably unstable, that has locked himself in a house with a gun. Dont know if there are other people in the house.
Theres probably nothing to worry about, but....it is so scary rite now.

Announcement

Tommorrow (April 4th) is my birthday!!!!!!!!! WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Just thought i'd let everyone know that.

Also, Memory of the week: Speaking of birthdays, remember Miranda's birthday? Well, I'm sure Miranda does... but anyway, i remember sneaking into the bookstore afetr Miranda left lunch to buy her something... then we had to figure out what do do with it for the rest of the day so we could give it to her the next day... and then there was the whole "Let's get a CAKE!" idea which surprisingly the siena food people agreed to... then we asked one of the guys for a balloon and he gave us like the whole bunch. And when we sang Happy Birthday like half the people in the room joined in even though they had no idea whose birthday it was. It was fun. Miranda, I hope you enjoyed your birthday :o)

....

Okay I haven't blogged in forever, but well... I'm a busy person. And I have a short attention span and have already gotten bored of the blog thing.

Um lets see, I FINISHED A SHORT STORY!!! It's awesome. It's monumental. I'm massively excited.

So I was letting Mamanda read it and this new kid, Travis, is apparently (she told me this whole thing) like "Can I see it?" and Mamanda figures he just wants to read it, and he takes it and just randomly crumples it up. And that pisses me off because that signifies he thinks my work is crap, so the next day I went up to him and angrily ranted about how he was a loser and he shouldn't crumple my stuff and then I stalked off angrily. Dumbass. It made me feel better, though. I believe I made a wonderful impression on our new student.

I'm an alternate for the drama club's whose line is it anyway rip off! I'm excited. It's massively fun.

I've been listening to this Colombian rock musician, Juanes, ever since Dr. Sela played him for us in class. He rocks. It's cool.

Tengo la camisa negra, porque negra tengo el almo, yo por ti perdi la calma y casi pierdo hasta mi cama...
