Hi guys! I haven't posted in a while.... but guess what I broke my thumb! I was dancing with my friends for this talent show type thing at school called Jam Day and I broke it! I am getting the cast off in like two weeks but it was broken pretty bad. Part of the bone is like chipped off! But even better the weather has been super lately! Its always warm and sunny. But our school is old and doesn't have air conditioning so it can get really hot sometimes. I am going to New York this weekend for Memorial Day weekend, maybe I'll see one of you boys that live down there! Have a happy holiday/long weekend!

YES! ENGLISH!

Thunderstorm = NOT AWESOME. We had a meet yesterday-- SI boro championships-- and basically it's all hot and sunny and we're thinking the weather people toatally lied 'cause there's no way it's going to rain...then there's these random GIANT GUSTS OF WIND that seriously made me lose my balance as I was checking my steps for long jump. And the sky got all cloudy-like and the officials are all "INSIDE!" So everyone there has to relocate into the high school where we sit for a half hour, thinking they're going to postpone the meet. Then all of a sudden my coach says "steeplechase, long jump, and high jump go off in 15 minutes!" And we're like WTF?!?! so we go do a mini-warm up and re-take our steps and stuff, all in the pouring rain. Steeplechase actually ran (which kind of sucks for them)... and 20 minutes later the meet is posponed to next wednesday. Which gets us out of running in the rain, but next wednesday is the day after our freshman island champs meet, and we can't race two days in a row... so basically, it looks like no freshmen will be running at boros next week. Which really hurts the team.

And hey, kathy -- you live in Pearl River? Does that mean you go to Pearl River high school? 'Cause I've seen your track team, then! Several times, I think. Are there these twin girls with red hair who are really tiny that go to your school? I remember them from indoor. One of the officials was talking to one of them, he like didn't believe they were in high school.

AND I managed to switch the website back to english after about twenty minutes of trying random buttons. I finally saw on one page the word "Yazyk"-- which I happen to know means "language"-- and when I clicked that, it took me to a page where i could select the language. Which is good.

mi sleepy town gets waken up

hahaha, so idk about you guys, but today, there was an awesome thunderstorm over where I live. So the day started off pretty well, seeing that it was pretty warm and seemed like it would be nice. Well, 3rd period, we get this announcement talking about this pedophile that tried to get one of the highschoolers into his car. So we are all talking about this pervert and all. Then, 8th period, we get this message over the loudspeakers, that we are having a tornado watch and that a tornado might touch down. So evry1 is laughing their heads off, b/c this is a small town of Pearl River and its motto is "Still the town of friendly people"
Then, afterschool, we get torrential rain and then while walkin home, branches fall, nearly hitting my friends and then we start seeing a pile of leaves start swirling around in circles, so all we think is, "WTF??!! a tornado!!" and we run so fast back to the HS....it was soo hilarious!!

dont know why i shared this with you, but it made my day

GAHH!!

It's been so long! I've been so busy! I feel like i totally ditched you guys, but I'm back now! I'm going to washington DC with my class tomorrow morning, gotta get up at 5:30, to leave the house at 6:15 to get at school by 7 funfunfun. I'm looking forward to the trip though, we've got a cool schedule planned and i'm grouped with my really good friends.

My play was last friday during the day and at night and it was cool but I've been working on it really hard recently so there was even less time for me to post then usual.

OH! I got a Bailey Scholarship from my college, which means that they'll give me $13,000
annually which is AWESOME that's like half my tuition and i got i cause my grades are so high now and other stuff. Also apparently Bailey Scholars get to do all types of fun stuff on campus (at least that's what my sister says) so that's really awesome.

I still don't know if I'm going to CTY this year yet, cross your fingers for me!

sun-tanned and full of muscles. i could pwn alydaar.

lol china was amazing, and all the food was incredibly spicy, so we all were craving mcdonald's by the end of the week....yarr. its so different over yonder, the in-school culture is incredible. girls and guys dont talk, and if we like, make eye contact with the guys they get all squirmy and are like OMG THAT GIRL IS LOOKING AT ME, RUN AWAYYYYY. on the other hand, girls hold hands and link arms and prance through the fields...as do guys. morning excercises in....the morning, what else? are non-sweat-producing, but utterly entertaining, and look more like a funky dance. the kids in class are SO SCARED to talk individually, so when we ask a question, the entire class like, shouts the answer back at us. or they just kinda stare at us and are like, SHE ME??? which means, what?????? qUOI? they're really nice kids, and they made us 1000 paper cranes *make a wish* before we left.

but omg the buses dont have seatbelts and when we went up a mtn the driver's speedometer was broken. thank god we're alive. THANK GOd.

im studying for world history/geo tests as of nowww.

haha and im so tan from track and no, im def. not ripped. but i totally have gained alydaar-muscle-potential. we should have a flexing contest sometime..lol not that he's reading this, cuz he hasnt been posting for a while? i think...unless he changed his name.

okey dokey. its so NICE out, beautiful amazing sunny weather. perfect for flip flops and lemonade.

haha there was a girl that was ringing a bell and selling lemonade that i drove past earlier today.

:D happy good weather! have a nice week!!!
