Damn...

I legit forgot about this... I just went back on blogspot for the first time in forever because i'm making a blog for one of my courses (weird but yea, it's actually graded). At least Kelly came back for a second! It's almost three years? is that right? i guess that makes sense that it died down... but seriously? that's sad.

I've been pretty good. fourth semester of college.... almost halfway through! i'm working on my art/psyc major, taking a bunch of really cool classes. I'm also going to el salvador this spring, the first time I've been out of the country since like... 1998? ish? i dunno, i was really little and i don't remember it anyway. So that's really exciting.... i don't think there's really anything else. just chilling in virginia.

I can't believe I flat out forgot about this site! For a year(probably more)!

It's nice to read about what's been going in your lives, : ). I feel absolutely terrible that I haven't made more of an effort to keep in touch with everybody.

Major updates:
- I am officially a One-year-wonder as I think I am disqualified from going to CTY next summer(maybe), but what an awesome summer it was.
- JUNIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL IS THAT NOT INSANE?! I am so darn old that I'll be legit taking the SATs in a few months.
- Going to get my learner's permit as soon as my parents can be bothered to take me to the DMV. Reluctance is understandable as I have pieced together from hear-say that the DMV is a terrible place where they take unflattering pictures of you and you wait in line for hours.
- I still do debate! I go to New York all the time for debate tournaments and I see Chattanooga, etc. there at tournaments often.
-Last summer I worked at an internship at a lab, I wished I were at CTY instead pretty much every day! I also played a lot of Tetris and listened to lots of obscure bands!

Neon Green Lanyards

Hey, guys!


I went to writing camp again this year, but it was at Skidmore College in Saratoga, and guess what I saw there? CTYERS! I had forgotten there were sessions going on there. I had quite a few flashbacks with the lanyards and the frisbees and the groups on the lawn and the mandatory fun :P


I just wanted you guys to know, I was reminiscing.

I'm not going back to CTY either so it looks like we're kinda dwindling outta there. It's not that it's too young... it's being away at college all year so I don't want to be away from home the precious few months I actually am home. Also, it is expensive and the rules would be way stricter then they are here so it wouldn't be as much fun.

On the brighter side, I just finished my Spring Semester which means I've now completed enough credits to be a sophomore in college! So, our school is technically done, but then there's May Term. May term is basically CTY, it's three weeks, one course. There are a lot of abroad courses in May Term though which i hope to do later. For now i'm here doing two courses actually, a music theater one and an art one.

Besides that I'm around. I'm be back up in CT by May 15th if any of yall wanna hang. We should totally get everyone together sometime though, bring back ol memories right? :P

Hey! Good to hear your injury's doing better, Amelia. I don't think I'm going to do CTY either--too much stuff going on this summer. I want to take Driver's Ed, and maybe get a job.

Speaking of Driver's Ed, it was my sixteenth birthday yesterday, and I got my permit today!!! I'm excited.

Alright, that was just a brief message, but I have to go do homework now. Gross.
